Really good driving school, for real!

I have just passed my practical with 4 minors from the very first go and I can’t thank Mike enough for the work during the past 4-5 months. The instructor is amazing, quite chill but knowledgeable and explains things in detail while giving you the chance to practice those things on the road straight away. The prices charged for the lessons are good compared to other driving schools and the booking process is very straight forward with Laura, who manages it and can accommodate for individual needs like weekends/not so early hours in the morning etc. I don’t normally give 5 stars reviews but if I could give Omari driving school a higher than 5, I would for sure not only for the great service but also because they actually want you to pass the exam instead of being solely interested in you spending money for lessons with them.

I had two different instructors prior to learning with Mike at Omari and none of them made me feel as calm and supported as I did with Mike. He was patient and has a great sense of humour, which made me really enjoy my lessons and I ended up passing my test first time. Laura’s organisation is amazing, and the process wouldn’t have been so smooth if it wasn’t for her as well!

Punctual and effective driving instructor

I passed my driving test today, and I couldn’t have done it without Mike! He has been incredibly punctual, always on time for every lesson and never cancel, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Laura has also been fantastic—always supportive and quick to rearrange lessons when needed. Highly recommend!

Absolute delight!

Absolutely marvelous experience, can’t recommend enough! Laura and Mike are both super helpful and accommodating, the lessons fly by and are a delight! We went through all the routes and maneuvers needed, all the mistakes I was making were explained in a proper, comprehensive and calm manner, and I was able to practice (not making them) over and over and iron them out. I was well prepared for anything the exam could throw at me and passed on the first try, on one of the hardest routes as well! An amazing experience!

Best driving instructor!

Mike is the most fantastic driving instructor I have had. After my previous instructor, who killed my confidence in driving, Mike quickly built this back up. He rooted for me from the very start and because of his patience and dedication during my driving lessons I finally passed today! I also want to add how accommodating Omari driving school is with planning lessons to fit with your schedule. Always professional and effective communication and try their best to work with you.

I had lessons with Mike after previously failing my test years before. I’m quite an anxious driver and Mike made me feel at ease and was very patient with me. The service from Omari had been brilliant, they tell you exactly what you need and won’t try and fleece any unnecessary lessons out of you. Laura in the office is lovely too, so supportive. The greatest instructor ever!!!
Passed first time today after learning with Mike!! He was my first ever instructor and I was so nervous but from the first moment in the car he made me feel so comfortable and confident in my driving, he’s so patient and makes learning so enjoyable, it’s like just going for a drive with your friend! The way he plans out his lessons and the order in which he adds bits into your lessons is just flawless, honestly couldn’t recommend enough! And his assistant Laura was so amazing in fitting my lessons around my work and my children and making sure I was happy with everything, they are a great team and I’m so so happy I chose them for my learning to drive journey! Mike is an excellent teacher. I passed first time with 3 minors. He is good at explaining things, telling me where I have gone wrong and he was very accommodating and considerate. Mike was the best instructor I could have wished for. He is a natural born teacher and he excels when it comes to teaching you to drive. From lesson one, I felt reassured and confident that I had chosen the right instructor. Mike was positive and encouraging but also challenged me in areas of improvement. The instructor is very patient on teaching every aspect which will be covered in the driving test. Had been struggling on manual in the past but everything become so much easier with clear instructions besides an automatic car. Definitely worth recommending!

Laura is kind, considerate and tremendously organised. Laura is always prompt to reply when I need to ask something and will always send reminders for any lessons I have. She was so kind to me when my test was cancelled by the DVSA last minute and helped me to amend my slot with my instructor immediately. Uncle Mike is a patient, professional and amazingly skilled driving instructor. Uncle Mike is always on time and greets you with a big smile which always puts me at ease. Best driving school!
It was the best learning experience I have ever had. I was a bit scared to start learning how to drive, however Mike was so gentle and patient through the way, it made me love every single lesson. He is an amazing professional, who was introducing me to new manoeuvres very gradually to make it less stressful and scary for me. I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Mike and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I passed first time, and from the very first lesson, I knew I was in good hands. Mike was patient, knowledgeable, and always made me feel comfortable and safe while driving. I can’t thank and recommend Mike enough.
He will understand the driving issues of the pupil very well and address them effectively.
He is very calm and patient and put you at ease and boost your confidence
I have used various independent local instructors in the past including other driving schools, attempted twice but failed. I lost confidence and stopped taking any further lessons for 3yrs as I’m a bit old thinking i can’t succeed in this test.
In March I started searching for the driving instructors again as I thought to give one more chance , got Omari driving school in google search , just noted so many positive reviews, which motivated me to enroll with this driving school , then rest is the history !!!!!!. I passed my test this morning. Mike and Laura are very professional and dedicated to teaching high standard driving skills one must have not only to just pass the test.

Passed first time! I can’t recommend Omari driving school highly enough. I began my lessons reluctantly due to nerves, but from day one I was filled with confidence. Firstly, I really want to thank Mike and Laura for the incredible driving experience. This week I’ve passed my driving test first time, even after my test date being rescheduled and not being able to drive for over a month! Mike has made me feel very comfortable and safe during my lessons and I was looking forward to every single lesson. I been using a few drivers instructors in the past but Omari is the BEST. I have passed my test today and thousands thanks for Mike and Laura, definitely will recommended them for family and friends.

I couldn’t recommend Omari driving school enough. Mike is an incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable instructor. My first and the best driving learning experience

I have met my instructor through a friend in May 2020, shorter after my theory test. Mike is a kind, caring instructor who treat you more like a friend than just a pupil. I went from not knowing how to drive to feeling completely comfortable on the roads in no time. I cannot begin to praise this school enough. I had Mike as my driving instructor. I really struggle with anxiety but from the moment I met Mike, he instantly put my mind at ease. I began driving from the moment my first lesson started and Mike was amazing at making me feel calm the entire time.
Each lesson we practised routes around the Cheetham Hill area (where I had my test) and manoeuvres. Each two hour lesson flew past and I felt like I was comfortably driving with a family member. Definitely a great choice
Mike is an amazing instructor helping me pass the test at the first time. He’s so professional and nice like my uncle. He knows all the test routes and skills to let me pass the test and driving safely and smoothly in life. We practiced everything together yesterday which is tested today. I can’t even explain in words how quickly the time has flown by. I started my lessons start of this year and today is the day I passed. I feel myself so fortunate that I started my driving training with Mike. I was really afraid of being behind the wheels. But he taught me very professionally about basic skills, and then how to be confidant while making judgements on road about other vehicles on the road. He is really helpful and keep on pumping you to learn. Mike is such an instructor who will not only teach you to drive but he is too dedicated with his students that he make sure they learn and pass. I had lessons with Mike and I always felt very comfortable with him as he was always able to make me feel good. He makes sure you don’t worry and helps you all the way. He took me through the test routes and told me everything I should know. Laura was always there to book and manage every appointment and she made sure I got an appointment on the day I needed. But I failed twice in cheethamhill. I passed today in Rochdale with another instructor, because I moved from Manchester to Oldham. Other than that he is a great instructor!! I would definitely recommend him!
